The Secret Policeman’s Ball
Seems to be making it’s way to NY, Radio City Music Hall to be exact, on the 4th of March.
The Secret Policeman’s Ball is letting America in on the party: The British-based music and comedy festival is coming to New York in March.
Coldplay, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Mumford & Sons and Russell Brandare among the acts who have signed on for the event at Radio City Music Hall on March 4. The concert will benefit Amnesty International, as it has since it started back in 1976 with celebrities like John Cleese. Over the years, Bono, Sting and others have participated. This will mark the first time it’s being held in New York City.
Tickets, when they finally go on sale at the end of the month (the 30th at 10am) can be purchased from here - that is assuming the site doesn’t crash like it no doubt will.
uhm… wow. how many more people I love would they like to invite?
AHH. Wish they could have got all these people and still be in England so I could go….
